Netvio360 Onboard

The CL-10 is the central controller for all Netvio AVoIP installations. It acts as the “brain” of the system, automatically discovering every connected encoder and decoder, applying the correct configuration, and managing network communication between devices.
By handling mass setup and endpoint configuration, it saves installers hours of time and reduces the risk of errors. Once deployed, it also ties seamlessly into Netvio360, NetvioGo, and AppBuilder, ensuring both system management and end-user control are simple, consistent, and reliable.
In Netvio standard applications for JP4, JP4-60 & JP4-60-DNT, yes — the CL-10 is always required, as it performs automatic discovery, configuration, and integration with the Netvio control ecosystem. Without it, the system cannot take advantage of Netvio360 configuration or NetvioGo end-user control.
When using the JP4 Dante Series in AV-A mode, the CL-10 is not required for basic operation since devices can be managed directly through Audinate’s Dante Controller and Dante Domain Manager.
However, many installers still choose to add the CL-10 to enable Netvio360 workflows, NetvioGo app control, and AppBuilder integration alongside Dante management.
The CL-10 is designed with flexibility in mind. Its primary power method is PoE (802.3af Class 3), allowing it to run directly from a compatible switch without any additional cabling or power adapters.
For systems where PoE is not available, the unit also supports 12V DC input, though a PSU is not included by default. This ensures installers can adapt power delivery to the project’s requirements while keeping rack layouts neat and reliable.
The CL-10 is fully large-system ready and has been optimized to handle hundreds of endpoints across multi-switch installations.
Whether you’re deploying a simple conference room with a few encoders and decoders or a campus-wide installation with multiple racks of equipment, the CL-10 can automatically discover and configure every endpoint, ensuring stable operation and scalability without adding unnecessary complexity.
Yes, Netvio has developed drivers for Crestron, AMX, Q-SYS, and other traditional platforms, which are available for download.
This allows the CL-10 to integrate smoothly with traditional enterprise-class control environments, meaning it can sit comfortably within existing AV ecosystems while still delivering the benefits of the Netvio workflow.
The CL-10 does not provide direct cloud monitoring or control of connected devices. It does, however, support cloud-delivered firmware updates and feature enhancements, ensuring the controller always runs the latest software.
Remote monitoring and control can be achieved if a PC or server with cloud access is connected into the system, allowing installers to integrate and manage the system remotely.
If full remote access, monitoring, and control are required, this can be achieved by using Netvio’s IP-JP4 Dante devices in AV-A mode in combination with Audinate’s Dante Director or Domain Manager platforms.
Yes. For professional installations, the CL-10 is fully compatible with the Netvio IP-RK-10 rack mount kit, which allows multiple units to be neatly presented in a 6U rack space.
This not only keeps systems tidy and serviceable but also ensures the controller matches the same professional finish as Netvio’s AVoIP endpoints and IP-SW Series switches.
