The extender is designed for reliable Full HD transmission and supports video resolutions up to 1080p at 60Hz. It ensures uncompressed, zero-latency delivery of HDMI signals, making it ideal for both professional and residential installations. This focus on 1080p60 ensures maximum stability over CAT6 cabling and eliminates the challenges of higher bandwidth formats.
The EX-TS-400-10 can extend HDMI signals up to 40 meters (131 feet) at 1080p60 using high-quality CAT6 cabling. Using lower-grade cable (CAT5e) may slightly reduce the maximum distance. For best results, we recommend solid-core CAT6 cable for permanent installations, as it provides the most reliable performance.
The unit offers two EDID management modes via a simple dial switch: AUTO compares the EDID of all connected displays and negotiates the best common resolution for the source. COPY uses the EDID of HDMI OUT1 as the reference, ensuring that the source matches one priority display. If OUT1 is unavailable, the unit automatically checks outputs 2 through 4 in order. This flexibility gives installers complete control over video compatibility.
Yes. The system supports up to 7.1-channel HD audio, including Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, and PCM multichannel formats. This makes it suitable for home cinema applications as well as professional environments where high-quality audio reproduction is required.
No. The SP-H2-0104-10 is a true plug-and-play device. Once the HDMI source, displays, and optional audio outputs are connected, the installer only needs to set the EDID and scaler switches. No additional software or drivers are needed, simplifying installation and reducing setup time.
Yes. The EX-TS-400-10 supports one-way IR pass-through, which allows commands from a remote control at the display end to be transmitted back to the HDMI source. For example, you can control a Blu-ray player or set-top box located at the transmitter end while watching content on the remote display.
PoC allows the transmitter to deliver power to the receiver over the same CAT6 cable used for HDMI transmission. This means that only the transmitter requires a power connection, simplifying installation and reducing the need for additional power outlets near the remote display.
